Gio Ponti (1891–1979) was an influential Italian architect, designer, and editor.
He helped shape modern Italian design through his architecture, furniture, ceramics, and graphic work.

Ponti founded the design magazine Domus in 1928 and designed iconic buildings including Milan’s Pirelli Tower. His work combined modernism with elegance, color, and craftsmanship, making him one of Italy’s most important 20th-century designers.
